GARNETT B TEAM REPORT
Saturday 16th November 2002 Garnett B 1 (0) vs.(2) 5 Interpon Bensham

Garnett began the game very slowly allowing Bensham to pin the them back in there own half for the majority of the first quarter. Bensham took the lead with a well struck goal from the edge of the area which looked like it could start a rout. However after the 20 minute mark the Bs came back into it and fashioned a few openings of there own and were unlucky not to level the match with Sheenan and Jones coming close. But Bensham exteneded there lead before half time leaving the score at 2-0 after 45min.

The second half began badly for the B's as interpon took complete control of the game and blasted in three goals in quite quick succession, Garnett did however pull one back through the lethal left foot of Ford with twenty minutes to go, injuries to Dunhill, Cook and Jones reduced the Green and Black to 10 for the last 20, making any kind of comeback unlikely, although both teams had various chances the score remained a very disappointing 5-1 to Interpon Bensham.
