BBC CUP MATCH REPORT
Saturday 27th March 2004 Garnett A 2 (1) vs.(0) 0 Jesmond Mysterons

Solid performance from Garnett to send them into a Quarter Final tie with Dynamo Fenham. Garnett started game well, without creating many chances. The first came to Young who couldn't convert a difficult chance after a lovely pass from Hopkins. Garnett took the lead through Pollard after good work from the impressive Deeble and a lovely dummy from Laws, Pollard then finished cooly when one on one.

Mysterons came into the game more but couldn't break a solid Garnett defence down. Garnett made it two, seconds after the restart when Pollard glanced in a near post header in from a Deeble corner.
Garnett then dominated game and would have won by, more but for the Mysterons keeper who saved well from Young twice.
