GARNETT A TEAM REPORT
Saturday 11th November 2006 Garnett A 10 (5) vs. (0) 0 Newcastle City A

Garnett expected a harder return game against Newcastle City A, due to the blustery conditions at Bullocksteads. Unfortunately for some unknown reason they only turned up with ten men and as Riley Scored in the opening minutes (whilst Garnett A themselves were down to ten men as Commane managed to find a spare shin pad) the game was as good as dead.

The game was never played at any great pace or with an urgency and Garnett A were able to pass their way around Newcastle City to win by a comfortable 10-0 margin with further goals by Riley, Holme 4, Gwilym 3 and an OG from a Deeble cross.

Comedy moment to note was after Potter missed a chance, shouts of “Ref  Sub” went up from various A team players and Potter started to leave the field before realising we only had the bare eleven players.
