ROB 'VAN DER SAR' SCOTT (GOALKEEPER) Debut 2003
As a Fresher Rob started in the 4th Team, but captain 4D was quick to sing his praises and his move up to Reserves was secured through masterfully cross handling and excellent shot stopping. Despite dropping down to the As Rob has proved to be an excellent addition to the club through his continued committment despite the strong competition for the number 1 shirt.

TOM INGHAM (DEFENCE) Debut 2002
A big, strong, dominating centre half, Tom returned to playing on a Saturday to add to the competition for this position. He has weighed in with solid performances as well as offering a genuine goal threat in the air. He made a real impact with the players taking 2nd place in player of the year.

PAUL 'ROGER' MILLER (DEFENCE) Debut 1992
Veteran defender, loyal club stalwart and servant, the loquatious Roger is a renowned figure around both the club, and the league circuit and as committed in the challenge as ever. Strong in the tackle, always fully committed, he always brings extra bite and a winning mentality to any team he plays for. Genuinely two-footed, and excellent in the air for his height, although as Paddy never tires of pointing out, his passing could perhaps be improved (if it hasn't improved after 11 years it's unlikely to now!! - Roger). Legend Roger once again had an injury hit season, but faitnfully supported till the end of the season. Roger is undoubtedly the hardest working member of the club as he has been for years. Roger has been exclusively responsible for the club's superb website and club stats.

CHRISTIAN OSSAWY (DEFENCE) Debut 2002
Norwegian Christian was promoted from the A's last season and when fully fit and motivated, Christian is a dominant centre half, underlying the fact that this is the club's most competitive position.

RORY MONAGHAN (LEFT SIDE/DEFENCE) Debut 2003
Enthusiastic 2nd year Rory impressed last season with his commitment on and off the pitch. He surprised many by winning a regular place in the Reserves, although this season he has been doing a job at left back despite his best position being left midfield.

CHRIS JACKSON (DEFENCE/LB) Debut 2002
One of the most underrated players in the club, Chris quietly and efficiently reached 100 games for the club split between the Reserves and A team this season. Described as the "best dressed man " in the club.

DAVID WARD (DEFENCE) Debut 2001
Wardy, has returned from his year out a most combatitive and accomplished player. Particularly energetic, committed in the tackle and an excellent man to man marker.

DAVID LYNCH (DEFENCE) Debut 2004
Dave's slight frame and mild manner off the field hide a tenacious and energetic player. Liking to play the ball fron the back fits ideally with manager Blogg's philosophy. Showed his dedication to play in the end of season evening games when the league campaign was long since over..

TOM PERRY (MIDFIELD/ALL) Debut 2001
Also known as Pezzer, Pez is a very versatile player who plays well in a number of positions. He has particularly good vision, skills on the ball and passing all of which earnt him 3rd place as Player of the Season before his year out. On his return to Saturday games has shown increased tenacity anf week in week out committment.

NICK BLOGG (CM) Debut 1998
Returning to the north east at the end of last season Nick willingly took on the Saturday A team manager's mantle and but for a few deducted points could have pulled off the league and cup double. However he did lead the As to Garnett's 3rd succesive Calvert Cup victory and greatly deserved the 3rd place in Player of the year. In tandem with fellow midfield general Glenn, his footballing approach to the role lead to some high scoring victories including a record 11-0 one. He will be missed now he is leaving the region once again. 158 appearances and 17 goals (9 this season!).

GLENN KENT (CM) Debut 2002
Glenn is one of Garnett's unsung heroes, deservedly winning B team Player of the Year last season. A real hard man in the middle of the park he has also weighs in with a few goals. Glenn always gives 100% and has led as captain from the front. Equally comfortable on the ball as he is in the tackle Glenn has trul become a Garnett stalwart.

MIKE DEEBLE (LEFTBACK/ MID/CF) Debut 2002
Left back/winger/striker Mike gives the A's much needed width. After spending most of his time at the club in the B's in previous seasons, Mike has justified his promotion to the A's with consistently good displays.

LEE KENT (FORWARD) Debut 2004
Brother to Garnett stalwalt Glenn, Lee has added another attacking option for the A team, always looking to play forward and on the defenders shoulder, Lee has been frustrated in not scoring more. But his growing confidence and committment have been a real asset to the team.

PAUL MURRAY (CF) Debut 2001
Cheeky scouser Paul was promoted to the A's after some outstanding performances for the student B's. Paul is a tricky little midfield player with a decent goal scoring record. Paul placed himself into Wednesday folklore with the goal that gave the B's victory over the A's and also made a name for himself by terrorizing Cav in the Sat A's v Sat B's astro friendly

TOM SKILBECK (CF) Debut 1998
Up and coming Indie star Tom started his career 6 years ago made a return to the A's after a couple of years away. Tom had a reputation for terrorising defences but until this season had not turned this into goals. Deservidly he took the Player of the Year and Golden boot with 18 leagues goals (including 3 hat-tricks) and another 8 in cup games. His best season's performance on the pitch and the stage since he joined the club!
