Having lost all previous games this season the team was needless to say in fine spirits before this all important cup match. By some miracle and a fantastic first half performance we found ourselves 2-0 up by the interval. We were so fantastic that it can honestly be said that there wasn't a poor performance by anyone. Keegan may have missed one of his slightly open goals but nobody's perfect, are they?
The second half saw more of a standard Garnett performance with missed chances and defensive frailties. Henry Brydon settled the game with his second and Ryan Lofthouse's introduction gave the team a new confidence and it all ended happily ever after. Oh and we couldn't keep a clean sheet so in the last minute Doug Allison bagged himself an own goal.
