GARNETT B TEAM REPORT
Saturday 25th October 2003 Garnett B 6 (2) vs.(0) 0 Dynamo Fenham

This report is being written many weeks after the actual game so some of it may seem made up (and it is). No one actually reads these from the 4th team anyway so…

Dynamo Fenham came into this game with a 100% record in the league and were surely full of confidence or so you'd think. But the game was never really a contest as an average Garnett performance was rewarded with a 6-0 thrashing against what are normally stronger opponents.

The pick of the goals was from Rory Monaghan with a half volley to make it 2-0 after McMillan had opened the scoring. And that remained the score at half time.

The game was all but over moments after the restart as two became three and then four courtesy of McMillan and Skilbeck all of which seemed to make Dynamo less and less committed. This game was a rare occasion when winning by six was boring and you wished the opposition had at least put a bit of effort in.

The only thing Dynamo Fenham contributed to the entire game was a spectacular own goal from the edge of the box which made it five. I really can't remember anything else except Kent's goal was set up after Ford had hit the cross bar from a set piece (wonder why I remembered that, hey?)

If anyone is reading this from MY team come up and say "Bob Carolgeese" to me and I promise to buy them a beer (after pay day of course!).
