Bohs hardly had to move out of first gear against a
limited Walker side, who have yet to win this season. Both sides struggled
to put their foot on the ball in a dull first half, every time Bohs
passed the ball to feet they cut open the home defence.
In the second half, Bohs came out with more urgency and scored five
goals without reply. Danny Sherwood made space for himself on
the edge of the area and drove home left footed to give the Green and
black the lead. He then played in substitute Grant Steel who
finished with a clinical cross shot. Fellow substitute Jason Thompson,
looking fitter by the game, then hit the post for Matt Buckley
to follow in for the easiest goal he will ever score. Sherwood
scored his second and 202nd for the club in similar fashion to his first
before Thompson scored the cheekiest of goals to complete the
rout.
Walker never seriously threatened keeper Dave Martin as the dumb and
dumber central partnership of David Robinson and Adam Alexander were
once again completely dominant.
