ROSS BEVERIDGE (GK) Debut 2001
From a tradition of fine Scottish goalkeepers 'Bevo the Cat' has excelled in one on one situations since coming into the side to replace Mark Wright before Christmas. One of few Garnett players to have, in his own words, 'won in the West Indies'.

ANDY LAMB (R/LB) Debut 2001
Yorkshireman Lamby has established himself as an excellent addition to the Green and Black this year. Equally at home with either foot, his positioning and eye for the simple ball, have earned him several M.o.Ms this year.

STEVE COOK (RB/RM) Debut 2002
Geordie boy Cooky has come into the side late-on, and added pace and strength on the right. Always slightly angry.

LEE CROZIER (CB/CM) Debut 2001
Plucked from the obscurity of the NE Christian league, Lee has settled in well, and is a quality performer. Strong in the air, excellent touch and a sweet left foot.

PHIL CHURCH (CB) Debut 1999
Looking like a cross between Shaggy and Lauren of Arsenal, Churchy is a committed and honest performer. Many has been the forward who thought they had escaped his clutches, only for his telescopic legs to stretch out and nick the ball from under them.

ANDY POWERS (CB) Debut 2000
Former Dyslexic Utd stalwart 'Superpowers' has turned in some excellent performances. Quick, strong and enormously determined, he continues to impress. Well renowned for his 'scoop' method of passing.

TOM HODGSON (LM/CM) Debut 2001
Tom has the potential to be an outstanding performer for the Green and Black. Good football brain, strong in the air, with an excellent touch, and an eye for goal.

GILES DAWNAY (CM) Debut 2000
Tour organiser, plucked from the C team ranks and Possessor of a wide wardrobe of exotic football shirts, Giles is a tireless runner in the midfield who is always keen to play the killer ball.

MARTIN CAMPBELL-WONDERS (CM) Debut 2000
Ex-Para Wonders has developed into an influential presence in the midfield this season. Tireless and fearless in the tackle, he is an underrated ball-player, who is always looking for the simple ball, much to his manager's liking.

RICH TURNER (LM/CM) Debut 2001
Impressive early season form earned a deserved run in the Reserves for the totally committed cockney. Superb athlete, with an excellent left foot, he has been an influential presence in his appearances for the Bs.

TOM PERRY (RM/CM) Debut 2001
Talented fresher from the Dario Gradi school of excellence. Had a spell with the reserves, now back adding a touch of understated class to the Garnett midfield.

ADAM BELL
(CF) Debut 2001
Skinny rake of a lad, and renowned goose chaser, Adam has rattled in goals from all angles this season. Quick, and a good decision maker, he has the potential to get a long way up the list of all-time Garnett goalscorers.

KEITH JONES (CF) Debut 2001
Veteran, formerly with Methsoc and Henderson, his shin pads are older than half of the team! Experienced and deceptively quick striker, who drops off and links the play well.

DAN FORD (CM/CF) Debut 2000
The self-styled 'Bergkamp' of Garnett has the potential to fashion moments of brilliance. Good touch and range of passing. His chat after the game never fails to prove a talking point, as does his moonlighting as Lee from Hollyoaks.

MARTIN POLLARD (SW/CM) Debut 1995
Garnett veteran Pollard, now in his sixth season, continues to be an influentially loud presence both on and off the field. Loves to arrive late in the box and add to his burgeoning Garnett goal tally. Always likes to see the simple ball being played.

DAN CONCORAN (CF/LM) Debut 2001
Gateshead lad, Dan, is a Garnett rarity a fresher who went to a comprehensive. A highly skilful but diminutive left sided striker, Dan came to the club's attention with 6 goals in one game for the 3rd team. This is a record for the 3rd team and only been bettered by Danny Sherwood's triple hatrick and magnificent 7. Dan recently made his Reserve team debut after injury slowed down his promotion.

MARK WRIGHT (GK) Debut 2001
Coolio is a promising young shot stopper, who has made the Reserves number 1 shirt his own after impressing in the B's. Coolio joined the club this season through the Polly Benwell Hill CC connection.

ROGER MILLER (CB R/LB) Debut 1992
A Garnett legend, Roger's commitment to the Garnett cause both on and off the pitch is unmatched in the history of the Green and Black. Now in his 10th season with his only club, Roger recently passed the magical double centurion mark only previously reached by three others. If it were not for an injuries Roger would be the most "capped" Garnett player. A tough tackling defender Roger won a place back in the 1st team squad this season, after a couple of years in the B team. Unfortunately after a promising start to the campaign, Roger has once again suffered from injury and lost his place in starting 11 for now. The Reserves are now benefiting from Roger's presence at the back.

MARK ROGERS (RB/RM) Debut 2001
Another promising youngster who has impressed in this, his debut season. Mark has played for the 1st team at left back and midfield when injuries have created openings and let no one down, he will be looking to use this year's experiences to establish himself as a regular in the 1st team next season.

DOUG ALLISON (LB/LM) Debut 2000
Doug is one of the few survivors of last year's Reserve team, he has made the left wing back position his own this season. Doug has been one of the Reserves most reliable players this season, in this his 2nd season with the club.
