Great start. Battling win against a Rutherford side.  Plenty of commitment and discipline, quality 1st half  strikes from Danny Sherwood and David Mullan saw the Green and Black home.  Man of the match Shaun Cavanagh conceded a late penalty to give Rutherford hope. The Rutherford chairman said it was a “poor game but Garnett deserved 3 points”
