GARNETT 2005-06 PRESENTATION NIGHT

The club's annual presentation night was held at Jesmond Cricket club on Saturday May 20th,
Once again a well attended social event with players and many wives, girlfriends
and supporters attending. Thanks to Rich "Harry Potter" Holme for organising the raffle and compeering all those who donated raffle prizes and all the managers and contributers.
And the winners were…

Saturday Player of the Year, Golden Boot and Ever Presents.
1st Team – Local Lad Paul Menton won ahead of Jon Hall and captain Shaun Cavanagh. Golden Boot was Danny Sherwood (10) for the 3rd consecutive season and the 5th time he has won the award for the 1st team. Mark Brown was ever present/
Reserves – Tom Webb continued his rapid rise through the Garnett teams to clinch the award. Rich Holme and Craig Allen shared the golden boot on 7 goals.
A Team Ever Present Lee Kent beat Dave Lynch to take the award. Ben Thorp narrowly edged out Lee Kent for the Golden Boot with 7 goals.
B Team Mark Envy took both player of the year and golden boot with 19 goals in only 17 games.
C Team No awards were made this season.
Wed A Team – Nico Heslop took the player of the season honours and golden boot (7)
Wed B Team - Steve Cowles claimed golden boot (6)
Wed C Team – James Bradley claimed golden boot (8)

Club Awards
Club Man of the Year
– For his efforts in organising and running the fund raising predictor Dan Sherwood won the award this season. Danny also wracked up 16 appearances for the first team and will take on the mantle of Club captain for the upcoming season.

Golden Boot – Dan Sherwood took the award for the fifth time in his career, scoring 22 goals in 29 games, just edging out new boy Mark Envy who scored an impressive 20 goals in only 21 games.

Centurians -
6 players went past the 100 mark this season Giles Dawnay 113 (16), Tom Webb 117 (7), Keith Jones 110 (52), Chris Nunn 108 (4), Kev Harty 110 (0), and Nico Heslop 109 (27) All fully deserve the utmost respect afforded to Centurians. But a special mention to Dave Mercer 212 (20) for becoming only the 9th Double Centurian.
