FRASER HEPBURN
The big fella is a shining example of the club's grow your own philosophy, and has shown what determination and desire to improve can achieve. Fraser's presence gives the defence much re-assurance, and his ability to catch and deal with crosses sets him apart from many a keeper at this level. Also strong on one-on ones, even if his ability at downing in one does leave something to be desired…

PAUL 'ROGER' MILLER
Loyal club stalwart and servant, the loquatious Roger is a renowned figure around both the club, and the league circuit. Strong in the tackle, always fully committed, he always brings extra bite and a winning mentality to any team he plays for. Genuinely two-footed, and excellent in the air for his height, although as Paddy never tires of pointing out, his passing perhaps could perhaps be improved.

RICH TURNER
Rich has worked his way up the ranks, and his desire and determination is second to none in the whole club. A regular and excellent trainer, there is no-one who wants to do well as much as Rich, in order to emulate the success of his twin brother, Lee from boy-band Blue. Rich is developing into a quality performer at Left back, and shows a willingness to get forward and support the attack. If he can keep keeping things simple, he has a bright future.

ADAM 'TAFF' ALEXANDER
New signing this season, Taff has already been given the Reserve Team Captaincy as a reward for his inspirational displays. Many are the forwards who have suffered from his cunningly deployed 'reducer' in the first few minutes of every game. A veteran of the intra-mural circuit, he has easily made the transition to the rigours of Geordie league football. Strong in the air, hard in the tackle and always fully committed, he was memorably labelled an 'animal' by our friends from the RVI.

CHRISTIAN OSSAVY
The latest in a long line of Norseman at the Green and Black, Christian is still feeling his way back from a succession of injuries. Another defender who excels in the air, he is a firm believer in passing from the back, and has a great appetite for the game. We hope to see great things from Chris, as he settles into the club and the area.

BEN HOLMES
Garnett veteran in his fifth season with the club, Ben still displays the same enthusiasm for the game, and his game awareness and passing ability are the key to the team's passing-based attacking approach. Although renowned as a playmaker, team-mates and opponents alike have been impressed with his graft in the middle of the park this season. Gets more than his fair share of goals from midfield, and has excellent finishing ability. Claaaaaaaaaass.

GAZ HOPKINS
Club legend nearing his 200th appearance for the club. One of few certainties in life, is that, if there is a Garnett game, Gaz will be there. An excellent athlete with great pace and strength, Gaz can play in any position on the park, with aplomb, and without complaining. Also an excellent supplier of quality from dead ball situations. Good team man, always reliable and committed, though sometimes one wonders just how good he could be, given his natural ability….

MARTIN POLLARD
Manager, and veteran of many a Corinthian League campaign. Has preferred to direct operations from the sidelines this season, but is always keen to get a run up front, and demonstrate his passing and predatorial instincts. Main task for the manager is to draw out the undoubted ability in his squad, and ally it to the will to graft for results.

LUKE WALKER
Skywalker, a renowned connoseuir of adult shops, has been A team player of the year two years in succession. He more than deserved his chance at the higher level, and has adapted well, quality passing and dribbling a feature of his displays. Versatile and adaptable, he is capable of operating anywhere in the midfield and attack.

MARTIN WONDERS
Only member of the team over 25 (except for me! - Roger), but you would think he was still in his teens, such is his enthusiasm and graft in the centre of the midfield. Ex-para Wonders is a crucial player for the team, covering vast acres to snap at heels and break up attacks, then playing simple balls to get the team moving forward. Also a fine administrator, taking on the Corinthian secretaryship this season.

DAN CORCORAN
Little left winger of many names, and a product of the Newcastle United youth academy, Dan is an enormously talented footballer. Quick, and agile, he has an excellent left foot, and is capable of scoring great goals, and providing excellent delivery from set pieces. The opposition hate it when he dribbles, you can see it all over their faces.

SAM COLLINS
Fresher Sam 'The Eton Rifle' is developing all the time, and along with his partner-in-crime Dawson, should be scoring plenty of goals for the Green and Black for several years to come. A rangy and pacy striker, his good athletic ablity is being allied to a developing game awareness and finishing prowess. One to watch.

CHRIS DAWSON
Obnoxous Yorkshireman Chris has already made himself a firm favourite with the Green and Black army for his no-nonsense approach and ability to get at Geordie defences. Has great pace and strength and fine finishing ability. Should develop an exciting partnership with Sam Collins in the future. A big fan of boy bands.

DAVE ROBINSON
The Emile Heskey of the team, Robbo is a converted Centre Half who has done a lot of the 'ugly' work up front for the side this season. While his goals scored tally does not do justice to his efforts, the team are all appreciative of his intelligent and creative hold up play and willingness to work for the team. Terrified of strippers and naked ladies.

KENNY ROSBACH
Popular Norwegian Kenny is feeling his way back from injury at the moment. Provided he can stay injury free in 2003, we look forward to great things from this pacy and direct striker who has excellent ball skills. Notably scored 5 on his Garnett debut in 2001.
